Melissa W. Sullivan

_mg_1162Melissa W. Sullivan, spent the first decade of her legal career prosecuting all manner of charges from DUI to serious violent felonies.  During her tenure at the Skagit County Prosecutor’s Office she tried numerous cases to verdict and successfully argued appellate matters at the Washington State Court of Appeals.

In her first week joining the defense bar, Melissa co-counseled a DUI & Reckless Driving trial that resulted in an acquittal on both counts.  In her first year of private practice, she obtained multiple dismissals of both felonies and misdemeanors.

Her work on appeals has sharpened both her negotiation and litigation skills and helped to make her a highly respected adversary. With a goal of “winning before we even get to the courtroom,” her practice focuses on criminal defense and appellate work.

She is married to founding partner, Brian Sullivan, and lives in Everett with their two children.  She spends her free time gardening, skiing, and traveling.
